Newport Avenue Optometry is an Ocean Beach community based company dedicated to providing the latest styles in optical eyeware. The branding system for this company centers around Ocean Beach culture and beach fashion. We want to reinforce the idea of California beach lifestyle and how wearing glasses doesn’t have to hold you back from having fun. This approach will hopefully reach out to a younger crowd and bring a broader range to their target audience. The final logo aims to present this company in a modern sophisticated light, while also maintaining a sense of style. We wanted to incorparate a feeling of style in the mark while still keeping the idea that this was a beach based company. By doing this, we prevent the company from presenting itself as too corporate, but rather a company that is a part of the community.
